One-year-old Charlie came to the APL as a stray. He was brought in by a Good Samaritan after he showed up, injured, on her porch one Saturday morning. Charlie had a severely injured paw that had developed an abscess and rotting tissue as a result of not getting treated. Unfortunately, the APL veterinary team was unable to save the paw, and his leg had to be amputated. This sweet and charming cat, however, did not miss a beat and remained happy and grateful as can be the entire time he was with us. Charlie recovered quickly and was adopted just three weeks after his surgery!
