Mo is a 3-month-old male Hound mix who was transferred to the Cleveland APL from an underserved shelter in southern Ohio. He was in need of immediate medical care. Mo had a large wound on the right side of his face that involved his ear and eye. The APL veterinary team thought his injuries were the result of either an untreated medical condition or trauma. Mo’s eye was so badly damaged that it had to be removed as did a large part of his ear. He also had to be treated for ticks, whipworms, and kennel cough. Mo is currently recovering from his injuries in the care of a wonderful APL Foster Care Volunteer and is doing well.
