Seraphina is a sweet, one-year-old tabby cat who came to us as a stray. During her initial examination, our veterinary team discovered a severe, life-threatening heart murmur. Further testing revealed that Seraphina has Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA), a congenital heart defect that is putting tremendous strain on her heart.
Without surgery, Seraphina’s condition could lead to heart failure and significantly shorten her life. After consulting with a specialist, it was determined that cardiac surgery is the best chance to correct the defect and give Seraphina the healthy future she deserves.
The cost of her specialty cardiac surgery is estimated to be up to $6,000.
