$20 for kittens and $5 for adult cats at the Cleveland APL

CLEVELAND, OH (July 27, 2016) – This 4th of July weekend, everything is “Red, White and Mew” at the Cleveland Animal Protective League. There are plenty of adorable kittens waiting for loving families to invite them into their homes for the holiday and beyond! To help those kittens find their “purr-fect” families, the Cleveland APL has drastically reduced kitten adoption fees to $20. And while we’re at it, cats over 1 year old are only $5!

Friday, July 1, 2016, through Sunday, July 3, 2016, adoption fees will be reduced to $5 for cats over 1 year old and $20 for cats younger than 1 year old. (Regular adoption fees are $95 for kittens and $45 for adult cats.) Visit one of our adoption centers located at the Cleveland APL at 1729 Willey Avenue in the Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland and the Parma PetSmart® on Ridge Road.

“As we all prepare to celebrate Independence Day, red, white and blue are seen everywhere. Here at the APL, all we see is red, white and mew!” says Sharon Harvey, President & CEO of the Cleveland APL. “The summer is a wonderful time to add a new, young member to your family. Visit this weekend and invite a new kitten into your life for the holiday!”

All animals adopted from the APL have been spayed-neutered, tested for heartworm or FeLV/FIV, have received age appropriate vaccinations and treatment of worms and fleas, and come with helpful species-specific animal care information, a free initial veterinary exam, a collar, personalized ID tag, and are eligible for 30-45 days of free ShelterCare pet health insurance. Cats and kittens come with a travel box, and dogs and puppies go home with a leash.  All adoptable animals can be seen at www.ClevelandAPL.org or by downloading the Cleveland APL’s IOS adoption app from the iTunes store.
