Thank you for your interest in supporting the Cleveland Animal Protective League! Whether you’re planning a fundraiser, a donation drive, or an off-site adoption, this form will help us review your request and coordinate with you.

Important: No event will be considered unless this form is completed. Please submit your request at least 30 days before your event to give our team enough time to review and plan. Submissions received sooner than 30 days may still be considered, but we cannot guarantee accommodation, and it will depend on the type and logistics of your event.

Selecting the Adoption Event option indicates you are requesting adoptable animals at your event. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but availability cannot be guaranteed.

Your event must be approved before any promotional activities begin. Once approved, we will provide you with official materials and branding guidelines. Do not create or distribute any materials that include our name, logo, or branding prior to approval. Before starting promotions, you will be prompted to submit all event-related materials to us for review and approval.

The Cleveland APL relies on the generosity of local businesses throughout the year to provide vital support for our work. If your event plan includes soliciting local businesses for either cash or in-kind support, please include a copy of your prospect list with your application. Your prospect list will be reviewed by the Development Department to ensure your solicitations do not conflict with existing APL relationships or development plans.

Insurance and Liability(Required)

By checking this box you indicate that you understand the Cleveland APL cannot provide liability insurance or coverage for your event. The APL accepts no liability of any kind for any activity or action resulting from the efforts of you or your organization on behalf of the APL. The fundraising organization is responsible for securing any necessary permits or licenses.

I/we understand that the Cleveland Animal Protective League accepts no liability in any kind for activity or actions resulting from the efforts of you or your organization on behalf of the APL. I/we agree to allow the APL to approve any written copy, printed material and promotional items using the APL’s name or logo, prior to distribution. I/we understand that the event and any activities involved in the event must be in keeping with the Cleveland APL’s mission. I/we agree to indemnify and hold the APL harmless for any claims for damages or injuries.
