The Cleveland Animal Protective League and Q104 are teaming up for the 8th Annual Pledge for Pets Radiothon.  On May 10th and May 11th, Fee’s Kompany will be broadcasting live from the Cleveland APL to raise money for homeless animals.  This year, in an effort to help even more animals, the APL is hosting a Rockin’ Rescue weekend in conjunction with Radiothon and reducing its adoption fees for cats and kittens.

This Friday (May 10, 2013) and Saturday (May 11, 2013), you can adopt one adult cat over the age one for only $1.04.  Kittens under the age of one will be available for adoption for only $10.40. The adoption fee for a second cat or kitten is $20.  Limit two cats or kittens per household.   (Regular adoption fees are $45 for adult cats and $95 for kittens.)

“We know the community has been waiting for kittens to be available for adoption and we want to announce their arrival in a big way—and highlight our wonderful adult cats, too,” said Sharon Harvey, President & CEO of the Cleveland APL.  “That’s why we decided to add to the excitement already happening at the APL during the Q104 Pledge for Pets Radiothon and turn this weekend into an adoption celebration, too!  So come down to the shelter to enjoy Fee’s Kompany live on-air and then take a wonderful new companion home with you.”

All adoptable animals can be seen at www.ClevelandAPL.org.

Please call the APL at 216-771-4616 with any questions about adopting.

All animals are spayed-neutered, tested for heartworm or FELV/FIV, have received age-appropriate vaccinations, and treatment for worms and fleas. Adoption packets include helpful species-specific animal care information. Cats/kittens come with a travel box, dogs/puppy adoptions include a leash, and all cats and dogs go home with a collar and personalized I.D. tag.
