CLEVELAND, OH (December 21, 2016) – Twas the week before Christmas at the Cleveland APL and all of our animals think a new home would be swell! They said ‘life with no home has become ho hum. Spend the holidays in a shelter? Paw humbug!” In order to help these animals find their new home, the APL staff has written this poem. Those who have been here a while will have their adoption fees waived. But, with a dose of “Holiday Cheer,” we hope you will pay. This shelter runs on donations alone, and your gift will help another pet find their new home.
This Wednesday, December 21 through Saturday, December 24, adoption fees for select long-term residents will be donation-based. (Regular adoption fees are $45 for adult cats, $95 for adult dogs and $25 for rabbits.) Visit one of our adoption centers located at the Cleveland APL at 1729 Willey Avenue in the Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland and the Parma PetSmart® on Ridge Road to find out which of our animals are eligible for our special holiday promotion.
“The holiday season is a time where families gather and we’d love to see all our animals go home for the holidays,” says Sharon Harvey, President & CEO of the Cleveland APL. “We’d especially love to make dreams come true for the animals who have been with us the longest!”
