Donate Now: Rosalind’s Second Chance

Rosalind is a sweet one-year-old cat who came to us when her owner could no longer care for her. When she arrived at the APL, our veterinary team found that she was underweight, dehydrated, and bloated. Chest X-rays revealed a diaphragmatic hernia, a life-threatening condition that allows abdominal organs to move into the chest cavity and makes it difficult for her lungs to expand. After consulting with a specialist, it was determined that emergency surgery is the best chance to repair the hernia and give Rosalind a healthy future.

The cost of her specialty surgery is estimated at $5,000–$6,000. Will you help give Rosalind a second chance?
