To continue achieving our goal of 100% placement of adoptable animals, the Cleveland APL hosts and promotes a variety of events to help our furry friends and to raise funds for our life-saving programs. We thank all of you who continue to support us by attendance, sponsorship, and direct donations . . . you truly do help us make a difference for the animals!
Fur Ball
Our Fur Ball gala is one of Cleveland’s premier fund-raising events! This year’s event will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024. The generosity of our community is the key to making this evening a success and we hope you can be a part of this wonderful night.
WKYC’s Fur-Get-Me-Not Telethon
The Fur-Get-Me-Not Telethon Telethon features the APL live on air every hour with WKYC Channel 3, which raises funds to help the homeless animals at the Cleveland APL. This hourly broadcast from the Cleveland Animal Protective League showcases the diverse and meaningful work the Cleveland APL does to rescue, heal, nurture, adopt and advocate for our community and its animals in need. All funds raised directly benefit the Cleveland APL.
Dick Goddard’s APL Telethon
Dick Goddard’s APL Telethon airs on Fox 8 in September, beginning at 6am and ending at 7:30pm. The telethon raises money to help the thousands of animals that the Cleveland APL cares for every year. When you tune in, you will hear stories about the many wonderful animals that are waiting for loving homes at the Cleveland APL. You will also learn about what your donation can do to support the Cleveland APL’s life-saving programs and services.
